In Matthew 9, Jesus is asked why His disciples are not fasting. Jesus responds that they will not fast while the bridegroom is with them, but that when He is gone, they will mourn.

There is a lot of emphasis on strength these days. The message of being strong is very enticing and is attractive to our soul.

The Scriptures are full of shadows and things that are pictures of realities that are to come.

God has given us a very specific vision here at TOZ, and lately He has confirmed it several times.

What was the critical sin in the garden? How is that first sin by Eve affecting believers even today?

Paul would have been shocked to see Christianity become known as merely one of the three primary monotheistic religions in the world.

God has left indisputable evidence on the earth that testifies to Jesus. This piece of evidence is the ultimate witness that the claims of Jesus are in fact real.

The true knowledge of God is one of the things that is lacking among God's people. Jesus makes it clear in Matthew 7 that we can even minister and not know God and ultimately be lost.

If we look we will find in the Scriptures that God declares that spoken words have incredible power. Being made in His image, our words also carry power beyond what we know.

We fail to consider the great power that our lives have and how critical it is how we actually live our lives.

Revelation tells us that the kingdom is a kingdom of priests. In other words, God's governmental structure consists of priests standing in the place of priestly ministry.

America is coming into a serious time of shaking that has already begun. This will be a shaking unlike anything we have known and many will be confused and become offended with God. God will use this shaking to reveal Himself and to expose our hearts. We must prepare for this shaking so that we remain true to the Lord and are prepared to minister life to others as difficult times come.

Authority is a critical issue, however we must realize that all authority does not come from the same place. The root and nature of authority is critical. Some authority comes from a good and pure root and other authority comes from one that is tainted. One pure authority is capable of truly defeating the works of the evil one.

The Scripture clearly tells us that man is made in the image of God. While most of us may believe this, we really do not understand the profound implications this truth has. Understanding what it means to be made in the image of God can change the way we understand our relationship with God and our ultimate purpose.

The church in America is entering a desert place that God might set the power of the Spirit upon the church. Jesus' testings in the desert in Luke 4 illustrate the deep work that God longs to do in the American church that she might display Him.

The early church understood the requirement of a proper eschatology. The had a revelation of the end and an urgency that propelled them to sacrifice, holiness, and evangelism. If we do not understand the end correctly, it impairs our revelation of Jesus. The revelation of Jesus and the revelation of the end are joined together and if either one is missing the church suffers greatly.
