MOTHERS

Another name to call Mothers could well be “Grace & Mercy”

Woman is meant to be the image of the female side of God for sure. She reveals the heart of God as not only a Father but as a Mother.

God is Grace and God is Mercy. Grace and Mercy are the warm arms of God that hold us secure and wrap around us with love throughout our lives. His arms pick us up and give us a push forward and upward to our purpose.

When God took that rib from Adam and made a woman He mixed the golden threads of Grace and Mercy together and knitted it into the heart of the woman to be a Mother.

God graces a Mother with a tender heart toward all those she has birthed and nurtured; some are natural children, some may be adopted and some spiritual children. She empowers her children to become all they were meant to be. She is gentle but strong, She is forgiving but wise, She is patient, but progressive. She is kind but firm. She is sometimes true friend but foe. She has played the role in her child’s life of whatever they needed at the time, be it playmate, nurse, trainer, teacher, guide, counselor,, friend, or best cheerleader. Her heart knows great love, but great pain. She carries but releases. She gives her children security but wings. She holds on tight but lets go freely.

Whether she is a new mother, young mother, busy mother, lonely mother, unhealthy or older mother she is always a MOTHER. She is always in Her role.

Respect and Honor should always go to all MOTHERS!                                                           MOTHERS are an image of the arms of God, Grace and Mercy.

A Tribute to my 3 Daughters and Daughter in Love; Ronda, Robin, Ranee and Melody.

They all so gracefully and wonderfully fit the role of a God fearing mother. Their lives are decorated with the blessing of sacrifice and kindness. They effortlessly give and forgive, persevering, trusting, and loving their children unconditionally. They guide with patience, hopeful and believing the best. They see beyond the natural to help win the battles for their children. As wise mothers they have seen beyond the outward to the inward, and have been the greatest encouragement for all their children to find the treasure within. They all four give of themselves endlessly without considering their own needs first. They take their role as Mothers seriously before God and I am so thankful today that they have never given up trying to be the kind of Mother their children each need. I thank God for them today and for the 12 Grand’s I have because of their grit, courage and faithfulness.                                                             Janee Hawks

HEAVINESS

When I returned from a morning walk today, I thought I needed to share the following:

 I proceeded down the sidewalk as I normally do and began praying about numerous issues that Janee and I are aware of.  They include issues concerning some close family members, very good friends, God called ministries, the nation and the world.

I began feeling a heaviness as I continued praying, not physically but in my spirit.  I continued and completed the walk of about 40 minutes and the heaviness continued.  For those who may not be totally aware of my basic personality, I am a glass ½ full type person, I usually at least try to see the positive aspects of circumstances and situations.  So this has kind of got my attention…as looked at these scriptures and the heaviness lifted.

Jesus said in John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace…”.  So what “things” is Jesus talking about?  Earlier in the chapter, verse 16, Jesus said  “A little while and you shall not see me…’  Jesus is telling the disciples that change is coming and nobody really is prepared for or likes change.  Jesus is saying this event, though the prophets foretold it numerous times in the Old Testament, will still take you by surprise. Jesus is telling them to prepare for an event that will rock their world.  That event was his impending death on the cross.  Jesus is saying that in spite of the “heaviness” you will no doubt feel you can find peace in me.

Verse 16 continues “…and again, a little while, and you shall see me, because I go to my Father”.   The end of the chapter in verse 33, Jesus says “…in the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

Jesus did not say tribulation (and heaviness) may come…He said it shall come. He also said he has overcome and 1 John 5:4 says we, overcome the world.

 So be encouraged friends… even though circumstances of the world, the nation and at times in our personal lives look so big they will be nearly impossible to deal with.  You can overcome and find peace in Jesus!

We know the Lord tells us in His word to be instant in season and out of season. (ITimothy 4:2) The Lord said to me; “Be instant in Faith” This is not a revelation that applies to our solid foundation, for we are always to pray, fast, and spend intimate time with our God. We are always to dedicate time to Him and soak in His presence. But when God whispered to me “Be instant in Faith” He also gave me understanding that this truth is a strategy to accomplish God’s will in different  situations we face in this current day of the instant fast-pace life in which we find ourselves, especially in  America. It is a revelation tool to use to accomplish God’s will for such a time as this. We know our great God can do amazing things in an instant.  So I believe Father wants us to Know that it is not our condition, or our situation, our time, our peace, or all our prayers, but it is “our FAITH in the God who is in us” to accomplish what is needed to glorify Him in the moment.  When we just respond to His will even if it is in chaos, in sickness, or in many distractions, etc, still He will come because of simple faith. The faith of a mustard seed spoken of in the scriptures is the faith of Jesus Christ that He has given to us  and it will move mountains.  It is His faith He has placed in His own. So  we must set ourselves aside and know it is not about us but rather the God  who is greater in us that will do all things and will do the impossible at anytime or anywhere. Glory to God for this is freedom. It is not about us to make anything happen for His glory. Our part is simply to  believe God, to show up in faith, obedient, and humble. Praise God for His ways are so much higher than ours.

Hebrews 11: 1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”  So the faith of the Lord in us is going to put substance to what we hope for, it will put  evidence into things we have not seen.                                  

Hebrews 11: 6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that HIs is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”  It is the faith Jesus placed in us that will capture the Lords ear and power. We will accomplish nothing or receive nothing without faith for the just shall live by Faith.                                                                                                           The just shall live by Faith” (Romans 1:17) Paul said in Galatians 2:20 ” The life I live I live by the Faith OF the son of God” KJV                                                                                                                I

I would encourage you today that the coming days in the Lord are the finest hours of the church of Jesus Christ. He is calling and empowering His glorious church to AWAKEN, to ARISE, AND TO SHINE in this world with the GLORY OF THE LORD. That GLORY is CHRIST FULLY ALIVE IN YOU.

Yes, great darkness will increase but much more will the grace and glory of the Lord abound. His church will shine brighter than ever with His great love and power. The world will know we are genuine Christ followers by our fervent love and kindness for one another. The Kingdom will come through us, His people. Heaven will come to earth through us, His church. His Divine plan will be done among all nations and people, through us, His body on the earth. The whole creation is groaning now waiting for the manifestation of the Sons of God. Those who are lead by His Spirit are the Sons of God.

Because of His great love for us we are being shaken so that what remains is truly of His Kingdom and we can come into the fullness of the stature of Christ on the earth. The Kingdom of God is not shaken, not lacking, and will endure forever. It is the Fathers good pleasure to give us the Kingdom.

Therefore church, we must stand only in His righteousness freely God-given to us by faith in Christ. There is power released in His righteousness. We must encourage ourselves and pursue to live inwardly in His rest and peace. The promise to us is that the joy of His presence will always be our strength. We can always experience His power through praise and thankfulness in all things. There is a truth we secure deep within that ALL things are working together for us to be conformed into His image. We determine to keep the faith knowing it is a good fight with present and eternal rewards.

We are called to AWAKE to God’s vision that the knowledge of the Lord will cover the whole earth as the waters cover the seas. Know and see that you are a chosen people, a love gift to Jesus, a treasure of God, and a joint heir with Christ, who has been given a seat with Him now in heaven, that you might experience His authority and power over all the power of the enemy. You have an indwelling eternal HOPE that anchors you into His safe harbor to ARISE and SHINE through any storms you face.

Position yourself now for a great outpouring of God’s fire and glory, which will flow with rivers of great favor, abilities, strategies, special empowerments, assignments of supernatural results, and miraculous provisions. Move against all odds for God is with you. Stand courageously in the face of the giants that oppose you and proclaim that you will take the land for God. Pray with no doubt that all heaven is coming to answer your prayers. Know you have been rescued from the powers of darkness. They have already lost and you are more than a conqueror as you rest in the presence of the Lord. In His presence is where your will receive heavenly wisdom to build His Kingdom and the revelation of who He is for your situation which will defeat your enemy.

As we “Behold Him” by keeping ourselves in the mirror of His word and communing intimately with Him, He will transform us from faith to more faith, and glory to more glory. God will cause us to AWAKEN to His heart. He will give us the ARISE within, and He will cause us to SHINE. It is a season of a special visitation from the Lord. He is very near! Turn your eyes upon Jesus, and let the things of this world grow dim.

Our great God is in complete control of this world that He loves. His eye keeps watch over this nation and over His beloved.

His eyes are toward you and open to your cry (Ps 34:15).

He rules by His might forever; “His eyes keep watch” on the nations; Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah. (Psalms 66:7)
