In this critical hour of time, the priestly ministry of believers must be restored and this ministry occurs primarily in the place of prayer. We live in a critical time in human history. We are on the brink of major spiritual, social, and economic upheavals that will culminate in God bringing His kingdom to earth. With this in mind, it is more critical than ever that we are familiar with God's voice and are spending time before Him to hear what He is saying. The church, both individually, and corporately must be committed to the place of prayer that we might be like watchful virgins whose lamps are full of oil.
Trumpets of Zion is called to be a school of the prophets and one of the foundations for this ministry is the place of prayer. By establishing a foundation in the place of prayer it creates an atmosphere for prophetic ministry to develop and provides an environment where the Spirit can speak and send out apostolic ministers like He did at the church in Antioch (Acts 13).
At TOZ, "the furnace" fires everything that we do from the place of prayer. It is a solid foundation that provides support and strength and keeps our hearts tender to hear what God is speaking. We minister to Him following the heavenly example of Revelation chapter 4 and 5 by combining our prayer with worship. Worship is our eternal occupation and, when combined with prayer, it provides a format for enjoyable and sustainable prayer as we minister to the Lord. The house of prayer provides an atmosphere for ministry to the Lord in many ways. Some lead in prayer. Others lead in worship. Others simply come to sit devotionally before the Lord quietly reading or praying in an atmosphere of ministry to Him. Regardless of talents, gifting, or needs there is a place for each one in the place of prayer for everyone.
Believers from all ministries and backgrounds are welcomed in to contend in the place of prayer and worship, ministering to the Lord that we may keep a furnace burning brightly and fresh incense on the altar of our hearts. The Furnace at TOZ is a house of prayer for our local region where believers can gather together to minister to the Lord. As such we welcome all believers as we join together to build the place of prayer in our local area.
