There is a news report that gives a bleak cloud over Kenya these days. And yes, you guessed it, the report of the media. However, behind the scenes of all that has transpired because of the elections in Kenya there is something else going on, there is a report of the Lord. The Kingdom of God prevails, there is hope for the future and light and love of Jesus Christ conquers darkness.
In the midst of great tribulation and persecutions the Kingdom of God is growing even stronger and on the increase as people cry out to God for all their needs. Such is happening in Kenya.
In November of this year the apostle over TOZ International Kenya, Peter Onyango visited us here in Trumpets of Zion, USA. We were praying and believing for a much-needed vehicle for the ministry there. Peter has a large area to cover to visit and teach at the Ministry School and the churches. When he came we had a little over $2000. When he left we had committed all the funds, $11,000 for a car and insurance, tag, etc. God is a big God! He answers prayer.
Other ministries joined us in giving many items to the ministry. A projector, Bibles, water bottles, some clothes, shoes, pens, toys, etc went boxed on the airplane with Peter. One young man gave money to take care of one orphan and keep her in school for a year. We thank God and all you who participated and are continuing to give to the great needs there in Kenya. All the people and children of these TOZ community churches thank you.
The TOZ churches have suffered there since the elections but are safe. They continue to meet and experience the anointing and presence of God in greater levels. The school is going forward and will graduate 33 leaders and pastors in May. The Sunday school is growing with many children. The work of the Kingdom of God has not been stopped; it is only growing and going forward.
Peter reported a baptism, the dedication of a young child, visiting other churches to minister, continuing another level of the pastors training, celebrating the one year anniversary of the TOZ churches, and gathering the pastors to project the goals for the next year, to dream, plan and strategize the days ahead for progress in the Kingdom of God. One of our pastors who had to leave Nairobi's church is returning now to resume the work of the Lord. There are plans being made to start another class of pastors to be equipped and empowered for the harvest in Kenya. The greatest hunger in Kenya is to know God and serve Him.
We want to thank all who gave to TOZ International Kenya and let you know that God has protected that work and it is going forth to much more with His anointing and favor upon it. May all your fruit of giving be multiplied 100-fold.
We are looking forward to our next trip to Kenya to see what all God will do there this year. Since our God cannot be stopped and is amazing in all He does we are excited to see the greater works of Christ on the increase in Kenya and beyond to other countries in Africa and wherever God leads us.
