The Bible tells us “to fix our thoughts”As the dictionary says to fix something is to fasten it securely in one place or position. Many times I have thought it is like setting the thermostat of our homes at a certain temperature so it will remain there steadfast as long as we leave it there.Likewise, we are to fix our eyes and our thoughts upon Jesus daily. It is critical that our thoughts are fixed on His ways, His words, His actions, His nature, and His power. We are to constantly discipline our thoughts. We must practice daily to securely fasten our thoughts to line up with His heart and mind. We must remember constantly what Holy Spirit has taught us through the Word and through the life experiences in our relationship with Jesus.
“Fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received fro me_ everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you. “(Phil 4:8-9)
Another powerful scripture for your thoughts is 2 Corinth 10:5 “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”
God’s word is alive and you can experience it not just read it. “If we believe it we can do the Word and it works. “ The Word is eternal and is the only absolute truth. Our minds are the battlefield. The devil fights us the most through our thoughts. Many times thoughts come that may be partially true but contain lies that would hinder us greatly, even change the direction of our lives. Sometimes we have thoughts we don’t know why or where they come from. Take these thoughts into captivity with Jesus and let Him take care of them. Visualize putting them in the Jail where Jesus holds the keys. He will let you know anything you need to know from there. Then rest and trust Him for He is always faithful.
The enemy will always give you thoughts to try to plant some darkness in your heart. And lies or darkness that plants in your heart will defile your purity and defeat your victory walk in Jesus. Therefore, The word instructs us to “Keep your heart with all diligence for out of springs the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23 NKJV. “Guard your hearts above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” NLV
We should always ask Holy Spirit to keep us in His light of revelation and discernment. It is good to let this scripture be our constant prayer.
AMP: “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable and pleasing in Your sight,
O Lord, my [firm, immovable] rock and my Redeemer. “
TPT: “So may the words of my mouth, my meditation-thoughts,
and every movement of my heart be always pure and pleasing,
acceptable before your eyes, my only Redeemer, my Protector-God.”
I saw Great Grace and Abiding Glory standing at the door of 2019.
Early in January of this year, as I was praying, the Lord spoke to me this Statement; “Grace and Glory are standing at the door of 2019 ready to walk with those whose hearts fear the Lord and are seeking His will to be done on earth.”
Then as I prayed I saw like an allegory type vision: It was a heavenly scene and Jesus entered the scene dressed in brilliant light. I knew Holy Spirit was present as well for He was holding a scroll. It was the beginning of a Heavenly ceremony. It is difficult to describe this but it seemed that out from the Holy Spirit came Grace standing personified. Then came glory in the same manner and they stood together side by side. Then the ceremony continued and a scroll was opened. Grace and Glory were being commissioned into a covenant union for the purpose of a great manifestation of God’s Kingdom on the earth in presence and power through the body of Christ. I could see that Grace was carrying the fire of God and Glory was carrying the presence and heart of God. Wherever Grace went Glory would be there too. They walked and moved together, a union of covenant power sent out from Holy Spirit to the body of Christ. I knew this was something Father God was orchestrating. It was for us to take hold of and appropriate into our lives this year.
Grace is the unmerited Blessing and favor of God in us and on us. His grace enables us to be more than we are; His grace anoints us for our assignments and missions, and teaches us to move in the supernatural. His grace trains us how to live godly in this world (Titus 2: 11-12), His grace enlightens us, illuminates us, strengthens us, enables His gifts to move through us. His grace reveals truth and mysteries of God to us.
His grace is sufficientfor all that we might face in this life. We carry his grace and it supplies God’s ability when we need it. His grace is sufficient to perform all the will of God through any difficulties. We are to glory in our infirmities and difficulties for in them His power will rest on us. (2 Corinthians 12:8-10.) “And God is able to make ALL grace abound toward you, that you, ALWAYS, having ALL sufficiency in ALL things, may have an abundance for EVERY good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8 “WOW
More grace is given to us every time we humble ourselves before the Almighty God (2 Peter 5:5-6) for we know that without Him we can do nothing of eternal value.
Glory is the manifested presence of the Lord Jesus. Jesus present “with us” is Glory. He is always in us as we are in Him, but His abiding glory is when His presence is manifested in habitation with us not just visitation. In His habitation Glory we can operate in His ease, His rest, at all times, practicing to stay in this place in all we do.
When we can live in His glory it means He will be the one moving in us, through us and with us, performing His way, and uniquely drawing others to Himself like a magnet. We step aside and let Him move as He breathes on people around us and manifests His power. We are just being His clothes. Selah
His glory presence is like a cloud we can live in, ascend into heavenly places, which bypasses time to encase the past, present and future. It is gained or acquired in the your intimate private tent of meeting with the Lord. Exodus 33 is the best scripture story to teach us. Read the chapter carefully. Moses was a friend of God; He went aside to his tent of meeting away from the camp to meet with God. Every time the cloud of glory would come over the tent, others would see it and be drawn into worship.
God spoke to Moses face to face. Moses was to lead the millions of people on to the Promised Land. Moses says to God, “Who are you sending with me Lord for You have said I have found GRACE in you sight?” And the Lord says, “My Presence will go with you and I will give you rest” Then Moses says what we all need to say, Lord if your Presence does not go with us then let us not go, for how will others know that You are with us, that we are your people, that have found GRACE in you sight. Lord, show us Your GLORY. The Lord promised Moses to let His goodness (JESUS) pass by him and to hide him in the cleft of the Rock which He passed by. This is a great picture of His Grace & Glory working together. God is ready to do this again in a fresh powerful way for His people.
We are to take hold of this truth and pursue the Lord for this union of a powerful new impartation of His Grace & Glory for 2019 and I would advise that we are to receive it first thing every morning before we rise for the day. I pray all who take time to read this will receive this word by faith and experience the manifestation in real life.
Father we say, who are you sending with us this year? We ask that Grace and Glory would go with us in 2019 and walk with us daily, abiding in us and with us as we stay in intimate communion with You, Holy Spirit. Grace and Glory abide with us as we live face to face with Jesus. Let our eyes, ears, and heart be covered with the light of Your presence that we my Know, see and speak as you direct bringing the manifestation of the kingdom of God in our world. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray and believe.

Another name to call Mothers could well be “Grace & Mercy”
Woman is meant to be the image of the female side of God for sure. She reveals the heart of God as not only a Father but as a Mother.
God is Grace and God is Mercy. Grace and Mercy are the warm arms of God that hold us secure and wrap around us with love throughout our lives. His arms pick us up and give us a push forward and upward to our purpose.
When God took that rib from Adam and made a woman He mixed the golden threads of Grace and Mercy together and knitted it into the heart of the woman to be a Mother.
God graces a Mother with a tender heart toward all those she has birthed and nurtured; some are natural children, some may be adopted and some spiritual children. She empowers her children to become all they were meant to be. She is gentle but strong, She is forgiving but wise, She is patient, but progressive. She is kind but firm. She is sometimes true friend but foe. She has played the role in her child’s life of whatever they needed at the time, be it playmate, nurse, trainer, teacher, guide, counselor,, friend, or best cheerleader. Her heart knows great love, but great pain. She carries but releases. She gives her children security but wings. She holds on tight but lets go freely.
Whether she is a new mother, young mother, busy mother, lonely mother, unhealthy or older mother she is always a MOTHER. She is always in Her role.
Respect and Honor should always go to all MOTHERS! MOTHERS are an image of the arms of God, Grace and Mercy.
A Tribute to my 3 Daughters and Daughter in Love; Ronda, Robin, Ranee and Melody.
They all so gracefully and wonderfully fit the role of a God fearing mother. Their lives are decorated with the blessing of sacrifice and kindness. They effortlessly give and forgive, persevering, trusting, and loving their children unconditionally. They guide with patience, hopeful and believing the best. They see beyond the natural to help win the battles for their children. As wise mothers they have seen beyond the outward to the inward, and have been the greatest encouragement for all their children to find the treasure within. They all four give of themselves endlessly without considering their own needs first. They take their role as Mothers seriously before God and I am so thankful today that they have never given up trying to be the kind of Mother their children each need. I thank God for them today and for the 12 Grand’s I have because of their grit, courage and faithfulness. Janee Hawks
Picture in your mind a huge heart (God’s heart) coming down from heaven completely enveloping you so that your heart is being lifted up to abide and rest inside this big heart. Your heart is being consumed into His heart and becoming one. Can you see it? This is why God gave us an imagination that is like a canvas on which God can paint His pictures or like a screen where He can show us heavens movies.
This vision came as I was sitting in a worship atmosphere in the congregation of a prophetic church. I was still before the Lord listening for His voice when I saw a huge heart so big it completely covered the whole building and the entire congregation. I knew it was God’s heart. I could sense it beating as it enveloped all of us. Each heart that was longing lovingly to be with Him was being empowered with His heartbeat. I could see hearts being lifted into His great big heart. And out of each heartbeat was the flow of God’s love and power. Within each new beat of His heart there was the mind of Christ and the will of our Father.
I had been praying for several weeks for Him to show me how to live in this world every day from His heart where I first existed. I knew it was His will for us to learn how to live this life from His heart. Holy Spirit was showing me and giving me understanding through this vision.
I knew that as our hearts continually longed and hungered to be with Him that we actually are drawing His big heart closer and closer to us until we are finally consumed with His great big heart. I knew our little love sick hearts could live this life inside His big heart and we could experience the heartbeat of God. God’s heart is our Home. Holy Spirit tells me this is how Jesus knew to do only what He saw the Father doing and saying. John 5:19 .We too can know the mind and will of God and do only what we see Him saying and doing. John 14:12 Glory! Glory! Glory!
“DRAW NEAR TO GOD (continually) AND HE WILL DRAW NEAR TO YOU” James 4:8
This weekend The Father’s House adopted Trumpets of Zion’s ministry in Kenya as one of their International Family Missions. Trumpets of Zion, directed by Vince and Janee Hawks, will work together in partnership with The Father’s House in Henderson, Kentucky to serve the people of Kenya and labor with them to see God’s vision for Kenya come to pass. God loves Kenya and desires His Kingdom to prevail in every area of this country and the lives of its people. Together we will continue the mission so that it may be fulfilled completely according to the pleasure of His will knowing it ail succeed, “not by might, not by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord.”
The Vision of Trumpets of Zion ministry for the Nations
Africa and America or any Nation must be birthed into The Kingdom of God and follow this Kingdom vision to see the nations change.
The pure gospel of Jesus Christ is the gospel of the Kingdom of God that He preached, taught and demonstrated, and then sent the Holy Spirit to empower His church to do the same. The Holy Spirit is the governor of the Kingdom who lives with us and in us to empower us. He alone can impart this new culture, the language, the government, power and agape love of a new Kingdom to us. The Holy Spirit only can secure in us the commonwealth, and unity of one King. The church must serve and steward the theocracy of Jesus Christ organized and protected by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. This is foundation and we add all the truths Jesus and His Apostles taught to form the full house of God. The Kingdom starts within us. It is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. It must be solid, mature, full and running over within us first before we can release such power as Jesus and the apostles did and even greater as He said. This is the greatest need for any culture today. We, of all races and nations must transform to the character of the King and the culture of the Kingdom of God. Jesus is coming back soon to set His Kingdom up on the earth and the whole earth will be filled with the knowledge of God as the waters cover the sea. It will not be the church of just much religious activity but rather the church in obedience to God’s covenant and on fire with a constant abandoned love for the Lord that will carry the presence and the power of His Kingdom to this world now.
Trumpets of Zion has a Kingdom Vision to prepare the way of the Lord, for the King of Kings to return and set up His Kingdom on the earth. Religion has always caused war, persecution and death. The soul of man loves religion that is why there is so much of it. But our spirits are only birthed and built by the Holy Spirit and the word of the Kingdom of God. This Kingdom is “the rest of God” that moves with His ease. Man must cease from his own works to enter this rest of moving with the governor of the Kingdom. The Kingdom is a heart Kingdom, inside out, and produces citizens of God-likeness. When the church moves in the purity and power of the Kingdom truths, then the Greater Glory destined for this time in history will come. That is when all things will be possible and the whole body of Christ will do great exploits on the earth. The Kingdom of God wants to come on the earth as it is in heaven. The church is to hold the keys to open the gates of heaven for the King of Glory to come in. The greatest enemy to the Kingdom of God is the iniquity of religious pride and selfish ambition. Religion wants to kill the move of the Holy Spirit, shut up heaven and throw away the keys.
I believe God impressed on my heart that TOZ is an underwater ministry, meaning it is an apostolic ministry that can only be sustained by the breath of God, “THE HOLY SPIRIT.” It is not to move in the traditions of man, but in the fresh move of God. It is to move in the “DEEP” with Discipleship, Empowerment, Evangelism, and Prophecy all working together to change a nation. You must first change hearts and lives to change a nation. “Not by might, not by power, but BY MY SPIRIT, SAYS THE LORD. Jesus said, SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM and then all the rest will be added. It is the Fathers good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. Our prayer for Trumpets of Zion “here in US” and for Trumpets of Zion “there in Kenya” and throughout Africa is that God will shake, root up, tear down, and pull out everything in these ministries that is not birthed in the Kingdom, following Kingdom vision and empowered by Holy Spirit in hungry, humble, surrendered hearts. The Kingdom is for the pure of heart with clean hands. Our God is a consuming fire and may He burn up all that does not please Him. God’s plan is great for us all! We must stay solid in what God has begun as He will complete it.
In His great love,
Vince and Janee Hawks
Trumpets of Zion
When I returned from a morning walk today, I thought I needed to share the following:
I proceeded down the sidewalk as I normally do and began praying about numerous issues that Janee and I are aware of. They include issues concerning some close family members, very good friends, God called ministries, the nation and the world.
I began feeling a heaviness as I continued praying, not physically but in my spirit. I continued and completed the walk of about 40 minutes and the heaviness continued. For those who may not be totally aware of my basic personality, I am a glass ½ full type person, I usually at least try to see the positive aspects of circumstances and situations. So this has kind of got my attention…as looked at these scriptures and the heaviness lifted.
Jesus said in John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace…”. So what “things” is Jesus talking about? Earlier in the chapter, verse 16, Jesus said “A little while and you shall not see me…’ Jesus is telling the disciples that change is coming and nobody really is prepared for or likes change. Jesus is saying this event, though the prophets foretold it numerous times in the Old Testament, will still take you by surprise. Jesus is telling them to prepare for an event that will rock their world. That event was his impending death on the cross. Jesus is saying that in spite of the “heaviness” you will no doubt feel you can find peace in me.
Verse 16 continues “…and again, a little while, and you shall see me, because I go to my Father”. The end of the chapter in verse 33, Jesus says “…in the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Jesus did not say tribulation (and heaviness) may come…He said it shall come. He also said he has overcome and 1 John 5:4 says we, overcome the world.
So be encouraged friends… even though circumstances of the world, the nation and at times in our personal lives look so big they will be nearly impossible to deal with. You can overcome and find peace in Jesus!
We know the Lord tells us in His word to be instant in season and out of season. (ITimothy 4:2) The Lord said to me; “Be instant in Faith” This is not a revelation that applies to our solid foundation, for we are always to pray, fast, and spend intimate time with our God. We are always to dedicate time to Him and soak in His presence. But when God whispered to me “Be instant in Faith” He also gave me understanding that this truth is a strategy to accomplish God’s will in different situations we face in this current day of the instant fast-pace life in which we find ourselves, especially in America. It is a revelation tool to use to accomplish God’s will for such a time as this. We know our great God can do amazing things in an instant. So I believe Father wants us to Know that it is not our condition, or our situation, our time, our peace, or all our prayers, but it is “our FAITH in the God who is in us” to accomplish what is needed to glorify Him in the moment. When we just respond to His will even if it is in chaos, in sickness, or in many distractions, etc, still He will come because of simple faith. The faith of a mustard seed spoken of in the scriptures is the faith of Jesus Christ that He has given to us and it will move mountains. It is His faith He has placed in His own. So we must set ourselves aside and know it is not about us but rather the God who is greater in us that will do all things and will do the impossible at anytime or anywhere. Glory to God for this is freedom. It is not about us to make anything happen for His glory. Our part is simply to believe God, to show up in faith, obedient, and humble. Praise God for His ways are so much higher than ours.
Hebrews 11: 1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” So the faith of the Lord in us is going to put substance to what we hope for, it will put evidence into things we have not seen.
Hebrews 11: 6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that HIs is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” It is the faith Jesus placed in us that will capture the Lords ear and power. We will accomplish nothing or receive nothing without faith for the just shall live by Faith. The just shall live by Faith” (Romans 1:17) Paul said in Galatians 2:20 ” The life I live I live by the Faith OF the son of God” KJV I
